The Copperbelt Plateau of Zambia is an emerging coffee-growing region in the country’s central-northern highlands. While the area is better known for its mining industry, the plateau’s moderate altitude, fertile soils, and reliable rainfall make it suitable for small-scale Arabica cultivation.
The Copperbelt Plateau sits at an elevation of roughly 1,100–1,500 meters above sea level. Its rolling highlands and well-drained soils create favorable conditions for coffee growth. Key environmental features include:
